mon petit oiseau’s early days began in Tracy’s apartment in the Hollywood Hills, where she created some batik tank tops in her kitchen, using her washing machine and several kettles of constantly boiling hot water. After years of working with large factories overseas, it was important to Tracy that the items were hand made and hand crafted. Even now, there are elements of the maintain this hand made feel.

mon petit oiseau is inspired by the sophisticated femininity of the French, but is also influenced by the quirkiness of British fashion, mixed with the simplicity and ease that is American style. Tracy has mixed all the elements of her experience to create a truly unique collection with a definite point of view. mon petit oiseau celebrates the girl inside the woman. It has a nostalgic feel but is thoroughly modern and new.

Tracy was also featured in Angeleno Magazine as ‘The New Guard’ of Los Angeles Designers, featuring her as one of the six rising stars in fashion. She has also been chosen as one of the Fresh Faces of Fashion by Gen Art.

mon petit oiseau joined forces with Artists for Amnesty, designing a men‘s, women’s and children’s tee shirt to raise money and increase awareness for the 'End Violence Against Women Campaign', a worldwide campaign calling for a stop to oppression and abuse of women.

mon petit oiseau has a loyal following, including such celebrities as Mischa Barton, Zooey Deschanel, Lucy Liu, Mary Louise Parker, Shiva Rose McDermott and Reese Witherspoon.
